#Burundi sent its deepest condolences to the family of the late Zimbabwean President Robert Mugabe and to the whole Zimbabwean people after the death of Robert Mugabe.

Burundian President Pierre Nkurunziza, commenting on his twitter account this Friday before noon said:

"It is with sadness that we have learned of the passing of Robert Mugabe, the hero of Zimbabwe’s independence and valiant Artisan of Pan-Africanism. Our sincere condolences to his family, to S .E Mnangagwa and to the brotherly Zimbabwean people" as we read on the twitter account of the President of the Republic Pierre Nkurunziza.

Other countries like #Kenya ordered the flags to be hoisted halfway in memory of Robert Mugabe, who died in Singapore at the age of 95 while receiving care in that Asian country for some time.

The Secretary General of the ruling party in Burundi #CNDDFDD Evariste Ndayishimiye also expressed condolences to the family of Robert Mugabe on his twitter account.

Emmerson Dambudzo Mnangagwa, president of the Republic of Zimbabwe also said on his twitter account that Mugabe marked the history of his country.

Mugabe was removed from power in 2017 in a coup that was less denounced by regional or even pan-African organizations after more than three decades of power.
